She’s Kristen Stewart.
Even though she became a household name with her role as Bella in the
Twilight series, Kristen Stewart has been acting in movies since she was
8 years old. Born on 9th April, this striking actress was spotted by
an agent in a school Christmas play.
She first appeared on television in a few small roles.
However, her big break came when she was cast as Sam Jennings in the
Safety of Objects (2001). She was also nominated for a Young artist
award for her role in Panic Room in 2002, at the tender age of 12. She
appeared in a number of movies after that and gained the respect of the
Hollywood community with her fresh and fervent acting skills.
Born to an American father and an Australian mother,
she lives in Los Angeles, California. Both her parents work in film and
television. Her father, John, works as a stage manager and TV producer
for various organizations, namely FOX. Her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart,
works as a script supervisor.
Kristen loves reading. She wants to study literature
at the University of Sydney and become a writer. "I want to go to
college for literature. I want to be a writer. I mean, I love what I do,
but it's not all I want to do – be a professional liar for the rest of
my life."
There have been speculations that she has been dating
her co-star Robert Pattinson for quite some time, but the couple refuses
to comment.
Her latest movie, Snow White and the Huntsman, released in June this year and was appreciated by the critics and viewers alike.
She will soon be seen in “On the Road” which is the
adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s novel. The much awaited Breaking Dawn Part
II is also set to hit theatres at the end of this year.
